Have you ever sent a text message to the wrong person?

The Text by Claire Douglas is a short story which revolves around a message that Emily, instead of sending it only to her boyfriend mistakenly flung it to her entire office group. The message reads Andrew’s (her boss) being difficult about letting her have time off work. That she is angry. That she hopes he dies. If you think the only matter she had to worry about, is the message, then you are wrong.

She was embarrassed and didn’t know how to convince people that it was just a silly mistake. Emily’s nightmare worsens when she comes to know the terrible news that Andrew Burton has been murdered.

Is she the prime suspect?
Who murdered Andrew Burton?

To know the truth you have to read the entire piece. This is a very well-written, cleverly bonded, really intriguing and a totally unputdownable read. With realistic characters, awesome suspense building and amazing plot twist this is worth reading out.

Rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
